Vincent and Mary match up to what I have. I don't think Cosimo is his dad. He would have been 17 when he was born. But it is possible.

Valarie, I am very impressed by how quickly you found this info. I have been looking for a few weeks, but I guess I didn't know where to look. The first Vincent Valenti is him. His kids match up with the kids I know about. The only difference is that we knew of a Cosmo, but we thought it was his son...

His oldest son, Dominico Valenti, was born in New Orleans, LA in 1902. All of his children were born in New Orleans, LA. My grandfather told me that he met his wife in Italy and moved to New Orleans.
