Death record - another word for widower?

Hi,
I've seen the word vedovo for widower, when referencing a deceased wife in a person's death certificate. However, I'm not familiar with the word in the attached certificate. It looks perhaps like "???arito".

Can anyone help? This record is for my great-great grandfather.

Thank you so much ...

Aaaaah! Thank you for the clarification, Erudita. Clearly there are limitations to my understanding of the Italian language so I am very grateful for your help with translation!

Vitale Zampino and wife Anaetata(?) Madorra had two children: Domenicoantonio (b. 1819) and Anna Saveria (b. 1821). In 1824, Vitale Zampino was listed as the father on the birth record for Giuseppe Zampino and the mother was listed as Anaclita(?) Iapaolucci. Interestingly, there is a notation in the ...

Hello,
Someone had helped me with this record just before the system crash and I can't seem to remember the entire translation. Would someone be so kind as to help me again? I believe it is the 1843 death record for my 4th great grandfather, Pasquale Carriero.

Re: 1816 death record of Giovanni Zappone

Wow, that's great information. Thank you, Livio. I wonder why the names and ages of his other children weren't listed?

1816 death record of Giovanni Zappone

The link below is for the death record of my 5th great grandfather, Giuseppe Zappone. From what I can gather, he died on 21 June 1816. He was the son of Pietro and Giovanna Stavola (?). I'm far from fluent in Italian, but can generally pick out the important parts of a document (names, dates ...

Re: Looking for PAOLUCCI

Thank you Peter for the background regarding Castelliri formerly being in the Province of Caserta! That is something that had stumped me too. My great-grandfather, Pasquale Paolucci, is brothers with Tommaso and Loreto Paolucci. I understand this thread was started 9 years ago but I thought it was ...
