Perhaps it would be a good idea, if you have the exact data about date and town of birth of your ancestor, to wrtie a letter to the \"Sindaco\" (major) of the \"Comune\" (town) and ask for a copy of your ancestor\'s birth registers; thus you could learn who his parents were.
