Re: 1948 Case with Luigi Paiano
Hello Vifilho, Are you now in the appeals phase? My case went the same way and Luigi told me on June 26th 2015 that we had won the case but that there was an appeals period of about 7 months and they could not start processing the paperwork for our birth certificates until after the appeals period ...

Re: 1948 Case with Luigi Paiano
Just wanted to update everyone on my case. We have been awarded our Italian citizenship as of today! :) Mr. Paiano said that it would be a 7.5 month appeals period so he said that would end on Feb. 15th. He will then request the paperwork. He says its will probably be 11 months from now before we ...

Re: Citizenship through marriage oath.
hello Drew927, I should be obtaining my Italian citizenship this year. After I do, I will want my wife to obtain her's by marriage. I see that you have already gone through the process and was wondering how long it took for your wife to get her citizenship. I hear it can take two years.
Thank you ...

Re: 1948 Case with Luigi Paiano
So my court case page updated on June 17th and it now says "CORREZIONE DATI FASCICOLO". Which translates (using google) to CORRECTION DATA FILE. Anyone have a better translation or know what this means?
Thanks,
Robert
Thanks,
Robert

Re: 1948 Case with Luigi Paiano
Thank you Qliner. We had some name stuff in our docs but it wasn't as complicated as yours. My GGF's name was Cocco and when he became an American it changed to Cook. So all of my grandma's docs say Cook. But one of the naturalization docs for my GGF says that from that point on he would be know as ...

Re: 1948 Case with Luigi Paiano
Thank you all for the responses. The wording was as DRuss stated. So my question then is, during that six months can you do anything regarding life events (for my kids, marriage, etc ) at your local consulate? Or Do I have to wait for the appeals period to be over to start that other paperwork ...

Re: 1948 Case with Luigi Paiano
Hello Everyone,
So I just went to the website and found what I believe is my court case and it says:
"State of issue: WAITING STORAGE MEASURES" and then it says under "List of the lines of historical", " 06/09/2015 - IN DECISION WITH CANCELLATION TERMS FOR Concluding."
I used google translate for ...

Hello All,
My name is Robert and I am also using Mr. Paiano's services. We (My uncle, cousin, and I) had our first court hearing yesterday and I received an email from Mr. Paiano stating "nice to inform that the judge told that no more hearing are necessary and that he will deposit the decision in ...

Re: 1948 Case with Luigi Paiano
Some unfortunate news in my case... Luigi has informed me that my case has been postponed again. This time until September 15. Just wanted to see if this has happened to anyone else now or before during their case. Luigi also said that this judge has postponed all of his clients cases, not sure how ...
