families of Isernia & Campobasso: di Palma, Ciolfi & Battista
Hi Forum,
Looking to draw out any knowledge which may exist of ties of the Ciolfi, di Palma and Battista families of Civitanova del Sannio IS, to those in Castropignano; Oratino; Casalciprano CB.
Can anyone invest any time and thoughts on the following statement I made elsewhere on this query ...

Re: Saving high resolution records on Antenati?
Your .png image save is easy and gives a good image if you enlarge the page to the part you want to copy. Saving the entire page however gives you a blurred image that an enlargement does not permit you to read.
The JSON method is the only way I have found that gives a full page that can be ...

Re: Saving high resolution records on Antenati?
Holy farfagnuggen ?! While I liked learning this process about JSON, none of that is necessary.
I just used that method guided out and thank you to the tech savvy person for that (using Opera with JSON extension enabled) and yes, it works... Though, myself, I'm far from tech challenged always good ...

Re: MyHeritage.com
Another perk I found with MH is their ethnicity estimate seems to be the most accurate, based on what paper trail research I have done. Ancestry's is the worst, and their latest update was even farther off than the original estimate.
The good thing about MH is you can either take a test through ...

Fara San Martino Chieti records 1860-1865
Hello all,
Is there any location that has the records for the years of 1861-1865 for Fara San Martino available ?
They just aren't there on Antenati and wondering if they are mis-indexed somewhere that anyone has run across.
Cheers to all.

Re: Antenati- new format?
It is an absolutely mis-guided disaster and now has rendered every URL link anyone has saved to access, useless.

Garzella surname
Hi,
Wondering if anyone has any knowledge of the GARZELLA surname, in particular in the area of Campobasso, Molise.
Trying to determine possible origins and where they came from, some settling in the town of Castropignano - predominately found in San Giacomo degli Schiavone, CB. I've not been able ...

Re: Citizenship???
Marty,
Referring to your form message in previous reply, how should one list parents, when they are known, for a foundling.
My grandfather was a foundling and later reclaimed by his mother, changing his civil name, Barbarossa, to his mother's surname, Belvedere, in his 20s. His birth father is ...
