Thanks Spencer - no, I have what seems to be the original from the 1930's. I hope to have the long form next week from the office - I'll post then and let you know how it goes

New Jersey Birth Certificate that doesn't list mother or father

I have a great grandfather whose birth certificate from 1907 doesn't list his mother or father however we know it is well known who his mother and father were in the family. Does this ever pose a problem in establishing a blood relative connection when applying for jure sanguinis citizenship? If so ...

Certified Copies or Certifications for Houston Consulate

Does it matter if the birth/death records of distant relatives (GGF,GGGF) are certified copies or certifications as long as the have an apostille? New Jersey vital records says they only only provide certified copies to grandchildren - I wouldn't qualify since I am a great-grandchild.
