Today I came across the obituary for Teofila! She re-married Alexander "Alex" Karwowski (Karwowska), and it lists that her sister is a Leona Cardiwala of Watertown MA. This sisters last name is butchered, but it gives me more questions than answers. I cannot locate Alex or Leona. Anyone want to take ...

I think you are correct. I found some additional data which provided the "K" and it was the same place you mentioned above "Kölzin". I have done some searching through Family Tree records, but have not found a copy of the marriage or birth act yet....
