Re: Mennuti of Montemilone Potenza
Hi Gary, I've done a ton of research since then and have a few hundred people mapped out. Next time you talk to my dad he can fill you in, or I can come down and show you. Maybe you can fill in some of the remaining gaps.

Re: Translation & Interpretation Help - Montemilone Corrections
Right, and I did think that it seemed odd, but the following makes me think that Giuseppe and Savino (as well as Colomba and Clodia) were the same person:
- I have been able to find no birth, death, or marriage records for Giuseppe and/or Clodia.
- I have found 10 children of Savino/Giuseppe and ...

Re: Translation & Interpretation Help - Montemilone Corrections
I've got an additional question regarding this record - is there any indication of who Giuseppe and Clodia might have been? Whether a) they were different people than Savino and Colomba, or b) whether Savino = Giuseppe and Colomba = Clodia?
I've located a number of conflicting records (and ...

Translation & Interpretation Help - Montemilone Corrections
I've stumbled upon this document and it appears to contain several corrections to earlier records. I'd very much appreciate anyone putting their eyes on this and confirming I've interpreted it correctly and completely as my interpretive skills of Italian cursive are lacking.

Re: Mennuti of Montemilone Potenza
Thanks again Giuseppe, you've given me the tools needed to continue my search. I will move over to the document translation forum since it appears that's where I'll need the most help.

Re: Mennuti of Montemilone Potenza
I hope it would not be too much to ask for some information about this documents:
Birth #60 in the 1842 register. I can make out Antonio and Francesco, but is there anything here about the mother's name, or the ages of the parents?

Re: Mennuti of Montemilone Potenza
Thank you Giuseppe!
Those records not being indexed led me to overlook them entirely. Although I don't speak Italian, I'm slowly but surely identifying relevant records and expanding the family tree. This is a breakthrough, thank you again!
