My ancestors are from Vico Equense. I have tried emailing the commune in the past but have not been successful. I am currently searching the antenati records daily and have been able to further my tree. I was wondering:

Hello - Attached are 2 birth certificates. I always thought the female/mother name went after "e nata da" but then I see that on one of these it appears the fathers name is. Can someone tell me if these places on the birth record/form are interchangeable between the mother's name and father's name ...

I am trying to find birth records for Francesco Gargiulo- birthdate 8/2/1873 in Compania, Italy. His wife Maria Verde was born in Vico Equence in 1879. He came to the US in the late 1890's and settled in Summit, NJ. My goal is to find his parents and siblings.
