Looking for information on surnames Zanette or Tome, from the Veneto region.

Interesting, my mother's maiden name is Zanette. Her parents came from Pinidello which is near Cordignano in Treviso/Veneto region.

I wonder if there is any common origin of the 2 surnames, or is it just spelling differences between possible dialects from region to region.
