Just saw your last post...guess I missed it. So if you are a Palmeri...always wondered if my Great grandfather Liberto or ALbert had any relatives here in the states. Seems there are MANY Palmeri's but not able to trace any back to my roots.

Please help. So I am going to the links above but when I go to another area...say Salerno, I am able to find records but only in Italian. I can mostly figure it our but is there any way to do the search using the map on the home page and then get a translated search like the links you sent for ...

Thank you...I had seen that as well. Domenica's father was Sattimo Fanale...that I had found out and she also came to America with her brother Settimo in 1902. I fortunately knew my Grandfather very well...and yes, his birth date is correct. The dilemma is his mother & father. The death record cited above actually says Liberio (could be an incorrect translation and never could find a marriage record in Brancaccio or Villabate where I believe Domenica was ...

Mt Grandfather was Alberto (b. Liberto) Palmeri born in Brancaccio on Oct 20. 1895. He had 3 younger sisters. His mother, Domenica Fanale emigrated here with her family in 1902. Some time between when Albert was born (or shortly before) and 1902, I assume his father... possibly also Liberto Palmeri ...
