Is anyone having Internet Explorer problems with this site?
My replies on this site using Internet Explorer 11 don't post. Yet, it works when I use a different computer with the same security protection software. Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix?

Re: Looking for Puma - Pagliarello Marriage or Connection
Peter, I don't see how telephone directories would show two names like Puma and Pagliarello linked. So no, I haven't gone that route. I've translated over 800 Puma civil records from Racalmuto. Here are the links -

Re: Looking for Puma - Pagliarello Marriage or Connection
Carubia, I have not seen Poma. Could be a handwriting issue or could be a real name. This link yields common racalmuto names - http://www.avitrees.com/town_info.jsp?town=Racalmuto®ion=Sicilia&province=Agrigento American records are sometimes mispelled Pumo. I have seen Pomo on american re...

Looking for Puma - Pagliarello Marriage or Connection
Both Puma and Pagliarello are legitimate last names and not used as first or middle names. Many Puma records, both family and non-family contain both Pagliarello Puma names. I first found it for 3 of the 6 children of Salvatore Puma and Maria Rosa Carlino who married on April 28, 1911 in Racalmuto, ...

Re: 800 translated Civil records for Puma Surname
Thanks Marty and Erudita for your encouragement. It will take a while before it's ready, but I'm starting to work on years 1911 to 1942. The SmugMug site offers several presentation formats, but this is the only one that gives the description upfront without going to another screen to get it. It use...

Finding Italian Military Records
I have found a link that yields some information on Italian soldiers who have died in wars by inputting their last name - http://www.difesa.it/Il_Ministro/CadutiInGuerra/Pagine/AlbodOro.aspx However, I would also like to have a link to research Italians who served in the military but did not die in ...

Yes to the type of document, but I already have the one you sent. As a child of Giuseppe Puma and Francesca Curto, I am looking for her spouse, children and grand children. I have the birth records of all the children of Giuseppe Puma and Francesca Curto who I listed.

Re: Lorusso Descendants from Altamura, Bari, Italy
There are no living relatives that I know and therefore I can't contact them though they might exist. I have written to the town multiple times and I use familysearch.org all the time. I have never yet received a response from any church in Italy to whom I have written. The average Italian priest co...

Re: Puma descendants from Racalmuto, Agrigento, Sicily
While I appreciate the advice, I do not know of any living potential relatives in Racalmuto to write to. All of my great grandfather's children who lived to become adults emigrated to America (and they are all deceased now). My great grandfather had one brother, Giuseppe Puma, and as far as I know, ...
