Searching for Girimontes

As I have had no luck for the past 6 months finding the birthplace of my grandfather, Ignazio Girimonte , I am asking for help locating comunes where Girimontes may have lived in Calabria.

I have scoured most of Cosenza and will eliminate that province, but would love to have suggestions re: which comunes in Crotone, Reggio Calabria and Catanzaro I should write to.

Hi Laura,

Thanks for the Stoneham info, didn't have that! I have all the birth certificates for my grandmother and my uncles from San Giovanni in Fiore, but cannot find Ignazio--which I need desperately for the dual citizenship. I do have Ignazio's naturalization papers, but no place of birth stated.
