There are 22 cities, towns and villages in Italy with persons surnamed Godina,however, its origin is CATALAN, a separate language from the Barcelona area of Spain, possibly of Germanic origin but oddly enough is a nickname in Slovenia. Codina is a variation. The majority of the surname appears tobe in northern Italy east to west. =Peter=
