Salve, mi chiamo Renato Miglietta e sono di Brindisi.

There are about 1600 persons in Italy with the Miglietta surname. The Dizionario Dei Cognomi Italiani by De Felice does not list the Miglietta surname as an Italian surname. It may be local in origin and then spread thruout Italy over the centuries. The name may be derived from Migliaccio which is a Chestnut cake or mass of dough but then again there is no evidence to support this theory and is presneted to you as speculation. Peter
