Detainees at Ellis Island

[Sirena]

Is there a special way to search for the pages of detainees at Ellis Island? Will it show automatically if you search for their name alphabetically?

since you are in RI, why don't you make the drive down.

it is a very cool museum..

Usually, they are listed on the passenger record as detained. Sometimes there are two enteries....one for the actual passage they made and then the second denoting the detainment, the reason, charges, etc. So yes, a search by the last name should produce some result.
