i am trying to locate anyone with memories of Italian POWs based at camps in North Lincolnshire, UK, particularly Camp 81 and Camp 148. i understand that the POWs would have been repatriated from a camp in Selby, Yorkshire. UK. i wish to obtain a general list of names and have been unsuccessful so far in searching through local archives, contacting local farm, churches, museums. Without a name and date of birth etc i do not believ i will be able to obtain info from the Red Cross. I am therefore posting tis in the hope that someone, somewhere may have memories...
