Can I make a suggestion for this site?

I noticed lately there have been a lot of posts trying to sell things on this forum (such as this one:http://italiangenealogy.tardio.com/Foru ... 14464.html ). Most of these are made by "robots" who go on websites like this signing up and making post automatically. I think this problem could be easily solved if, when signing up for this site, you need to enter in a security code (like they have on Yahoo). Is this possible? Would that work?

When signing up for ItalianGenealogy.com you already need to enter a security code.
I think the bots use a backdoor but it is not yet clear how they do this.

I am working on it and in the mean time our great moderators do their best to keep the forum as clean as possible.
