SCAMPITILLA Surnames in Ohio

I am a Santella but my grandfather, Charles Santella, changed his name from Scampitilla and he died in 1955. His father, Salvatore Scampitilla, married Rosa (?) They had 7 children I believe, Frank, James, Charles, Joey, Mary, Rosie and Angela (Angie).

James Scampitilla married Grace
Charles Scampitilla Santella married Frances Pauline McElmurry
Frank Scampitilla
James Scampitilla
Joey Scampitilla married Bette
Mary and Sam Scarnienca
Rosie and Sam Naso
Angie and Johnny Cuccinot

If anyone knows the genealogy of these people, I would appreciate any help. They were probably born in the early 1910s.

I don't know about the genealogy of your family but take a look to the italian white pages: in italy there are only 6 families with this surname! They all live in sicily. 5 of them have a double surname : falco scampitilla.
