I'm new at this so please be patient with me if I'm posting this incorrectly. I'm researching my mothers family, in particular my Grandfather, Guiseppe Borriello. DOB 3Apr1879 Naples Italy. Fathers name: Gennaro Borriello, Mothers name: Teresa Feola (poss spelling). My grandfather arrived in Auckland NZ in March 1912, leaving a wife and son (poss born around 1909) in Italy. He may have spent 2 years in England before boarding the SS Victoria to Auckland. He met my Grandmother in NZ and lived as husband and wife, having 8 children, till his wife in Italy passed away 11Nov 1931. He married my Grandmother in 1932.
I would like to find out more about the Italian family. I'm not sure how or where to locate my Grandfathers birth certificate, marriage certificate or any information regarding my Great Grandparents.
I would appreciate any help that anyone could provide.

!If you can find out the exact town (comune) that your family was from, we can help direct you on how to find your family's records. Marriage records will be found in the bride's comune.
It is possible that your family was from the comune of Naples, but it is also possible that they were from a comune in the province of Naples.

My father was born Terry Borriello and his father was born Lorenzo Borriello, and his father was Guiseppe Borriello, and so on.
Im trying to track down information on Guiseppe and Lorenzo and was hoping you may share some with me

So my father was Joe Borriello whose father was Gilbert Borriello whose father was Guiseppe - Lorenzo was known as Joe so I think my dad was named after him. My mum did a lot of family tree research so can possibly enlighten you both on a few things? We have a copy of Guiseppes death certificate and a few other bits if you would like to contact?
