Marabille? spelling could be off..some letters are hard to read in his hand writing. Marabelli?

This was off of his WII Draft Registration Card. Antonio Marco. He was 52 according to the card. Born in 1890 in the town above.

Thanks for your help.

Hi, Francine.

There is a frazione (hamlet, village) named Marabelli which is a part of Comune di Cartigliano, Provincia di Vicenza, Regione di Veneto in Northeastern Italy.

It would not be unusual for a person to list his frazione as his place of birth.

My hobby is finding things. Having found most of my own, I am happy to help others find theirs. PM me! :)

Sorry it took me awhile to get back to this post. Busy searching.

Thank you vj and johnnyonthespot for your help and links.

I already belong to Ancestry.com, actually the "world" subscription since my other side is from Ireland.

The word hamlet is the 2nd time I came across it just recently when I just started reading the true story of Our Lady of Fatima who appeared to the 3 little children in Peru.

Again, thanks for your help.
