Immigration from Italy

I would like to trace the geneology of the Folena Family from Livorno who moved to Egypt in the early 1900's. The LDS site does not contain any info. Any help would be appreciated.

Livorno was part of the Papal States and did not start keeping civil records until 1871-3. You could write to the town for records after that year and to the local parish for records before that.
