Italians in Connecticut

Post by oilman19 »

I saw this article in our local newspaper and thought some people on the forum might find it interesting.

I hope the link came out O.K.

It looks like us Nutmeggers (CT residents) have the bragging rights for now. :)

Enjoy
Jim

That's funny the newspaper did that story.

I'm sure Pennsylvania must rank pretty high up there, too. The town I'm from is 30% Italian. My old neighbor (I think she was Polish) used to say you couldn't get a job there unless you were Italian.
My Italian surnames:

Caserta: Maietta, Rossano, Tessitore, Negro, Peluso, Musone

Campobasso: D'Andrea, Barile

Catanzaro: Fiorelli/Fiorillo, Romito

The video made me hungry!

I enjoyed the video and article very much....most of my Italian heritage is from the states of MI and CA, with few scattered around in NY & NJ....I'm curious what rank CA & NY had. Think I'll go look it up just for fun.
