Hello,
Our family has been lucky enough to find the death record of one of our ancestors, Rosa Miraglia, from Sicily, and we would be grateful if someone could please translate it for us. I tried to crop it so that it would be as easy to read as possible. We are especially interested in discovering the names and relationships of our ancestors included in the document.
Thank you!

Re: Death Record from Sicily--PLEASE HELP!
Please give us a hand with this--we can't go further with our research until we know the ancestors listed on this document.
Thank you in advance!
Jeff

Re: Death Record from Sicily
I suppose you only need the data about the person who died. If not so, tell me.
Rosa Miraglia.
On August 24th, 1866, at 5 p.m. in the Town House of Marianopoli.
Before me, Francesco Landolina, etc etc....declared that Rosa Miraglia died in her house today, at 2 p.m.. She was 84 and a "filandiera" (that means, she worked in a "filanda", a textile factory, but I can try to find a good translation later).
She was born in Caltanissetta, and there she lived.
She was daughter of the late Mariano, and widow of Giuseppe Vaccaro and Giovanni Diforte

Re: Death Record from Sicily
Pippo,
Thank you very much for your help. Is there any mention of her mother? Also, she is listed as the widow of two men. Did she re-marry?
Thanks again,
Jeff
