Hello. I have found some documents online that are in Italian and I know to contain information on my family line. I can discern most of it but am lost on the finer points. Can anyone help me? I can translate it for you, at no charge of course. Software translation programs make a lot of mistakes. What parts you don't understand?

Thanks Victor! I've pretty much got the basics - names, dates, etc. You're right, the translation programs can be a little confusing. Now I'm trying to figure out more of the littler details. In the Sarezzo22 document, there is a paragraph about a nun, Camilla Bolognini - what exactly did she do for her nephews? The phrase " it's dead women" pops up a lot - ? I know Carl(o) was a doctor but some of his accomplishments are a little fuzzy.

In the Sarezzo23 document there are some references to Napolean and the war but I cannot discern the details. At the end of that document it is talking about a child tht died at 15 months - of what? English translation at the end reads "In the 1885 son of he Giancarlo, "of years three", lives in that city with the mother Emilia Ghio, rimaritata with Carl Zandonini". What am I missing? Is Giancarlo's father listed? Who was Emilia married to the first time? I am particularly interested in this because I think my grandfather may have been named after her.

In the castello di sarna document, towards the end there is mention of the Montini family - could you help me with that part as well?

I know this is a lot to ask but anything you could offer would be greatly appreciated!!!

I get an error on the Sarezzo link. The bottom of the other one says:

Innocenzio Montini died in Sarna on November 23, 1764 and was buried in the family tomb in the basilica of Verna.

Envoy is a very rough translation of what Francesco and Carlo were appoined to be. Look up the english word Nunzio for a technical definition.

Alla sua morte, (To it’s dead women) means upon her death.

The 15 moth old child, Gaetano, died of an illness caused by "slow teething". His brother Gaetano Antonio, who died at the age of 30, was the father of Giancarlo, and the first husband of Emilia Ghio.
