birth record search
I posted earlier- I am looking for my sister that was given up in 1948 and taken to an orphanage in Naples,Italy -can someone please tell me how to go about trying to either get a birth record on her -is there a central office to request information I cannot seem to get anywhere with my search-

.........if you don't now the region you can go to www.nonsolocap.it and put in that name,click cerca and when it comes up color blue click on the blue name and the new website that pops up is for that town and send requests for documents to MUNICIPIO address..Its all free of charge just wait 6-8 weeks.
The form letter is in the site you will need to look for it...and it is pretty easy to fill out...good luck.
