Bottino/Bottini Family Questions

I have been working on my family genealogy for about 2 years. Just recently I have had some help from a distant Cousin. This Cousin has helped me find my ancestors to the year 1765.

I am wondering if anyone else can help me with my journey in answering some questions that I have.

Pietro Bottino, born 1765 in Campochiaro and marries Nicoletta Cinotti. They have Silvestro Bottino, born 1785 and marries Teresa Calleo, she passes and he marries Michelina Giuseppe Ferrazza.

Silvestro Bottino and Michelina has my 3rd Great Grandfather Cristofaro Angelo Raffaele, born 1830, in Campochiaro, Italy. Cristofaro marries Maria Sista Raiano, born 1834, in Alife, Italy.

I have the lineage from Cristofaro and Maria through to today.

As the family grows somehow the Bottino name changes to Bottini.

My questions are:

1. What made or why would Cristofaro travel from Campochiaro to Alife to marry someone from there? Did he have something to do with the church?

2. When did the Bottino name change to Bottini.

3. Is there civil records for Campochiaro on Ancestry.com and if so where do I find them?
