I am working on the CANNATA surname.
Frank L. CANNATA, born in the region of Calabria Italy, on March 11, 1895. Died on March 28, 1952, in West Virginia and burried in Pennsylvania. He served in WWI. Franks' parents were Guiseppe CANNATA and Rosa FEDERICO, both born in Italy. At this time I am not sure if they came to the USA or stayed in Italy.
