Still waiting for nyc

Post by sceaminmonkey »

I am still waiting to hand in my court letter to the NYC consulate. I wanted to see if anyone has had any success with making follow up appointments. when another family member called tony said the computers were down and to wait to hear from them. I don't know what to do at this point it has been two months since we contacted them but tony seems like a nice honest guy and I don't want to bother them anymore. I know how busy they are and don't need to be bothered with my bull shit but I am so anxious! advice ! please! even if its to tell me to relax and be patient lol

I haven't made any follow up appointments, because as far as I know, it wasn't required for me; but I will say that I have been waiting for recognition since my appointment in April... but I'm not particularly concerned. Do you have a sense of urgency for your citizenship? e.g. visa expiring or something like that? If not I'd say relax and be patient and if you feel like maybe they forgot about you just send an email or something.. I would just be as courteous as possible.
