The Court called last week asking for a letter from Division of Vital Records that I either missed when reading through jschotz posts, it might be a new requirement in general or Philly just being Philly. The Court needs a letter from DVR stating that an application had been submitted to correct the birth certificate of a deceased person, that the application had been rejected and a court order is needed to amend.
So keep this in mind and consider getting the rejection letter before proceeding with a case.
I must say that the Court has been quite helpful but it is delaying my case and my appointment is coming up in the beginning of January. I still need that BC corrected, the apostilles and translations.
