Parente and Pagano Families

Post by Wespar »

I am looking for information on my grandparents who immigrated from Italy around the turn of the century. My grandfathers information is: Angelo Parente. The address I have for him is Comune di Colledanghive Provincia di Campobassa. My grandmother was Giovannina Pagano and she was from Comune di Macera Superiore Provincia di Salerno. Anyone with information about possible relatives in the states or in Italy please contact me.

I believe the townis colle d'anchise, provincia Campobasso and by using www.paginebianche.it you can find all persons in the town(s) with the same last name using the first line for surname and the 3rd line for town and click CERCA. You can then go to the nearest family History library of the Mormon church and rent the micorfilm of the civil records dating back to 1809 for each town and find all births, marriages and deaths in each town. I've never heard Macera Superiore...may be it was Nocera Superiore, province of Salerno.
