I search regularly in Picinisco and can tell you (from memory) that there are very few DiVito in Picinisco and what there were were originally from Sora.

'Italy searcher' is right, i also found a few DiVito names in old records for Cassino and Sora, but if you are doing research, you can also try http://forum.picinisco.net/

My great-grandmother was Rosaria DiVito. I believe she was from Sant angelo dei Lombardi, Naples. She married Francesantonino Cetta. Her father was Pietro DiVito and her mother was Anonia DiSanto. I do not know if my family and yours are related, but would love to hear bout your family to see if there is a connection. Thanks
