Tips? Suggestions?

Post by AmyT »

Yes Peter, I know, memorize and do my homework!

I was looking for advice on making sure I annunciate correctly... I was watching my prep DVD and WOW, a lot of words sound VERY similar. There is a slight sound difference on the open vs closed vowels and some words are VERY much alike ie: as in the Italian word for slice and the word for affection..

I can BARELY make out the inflection from one word to the next... OY!

The DVD helps by showing mouth movements and I can listen to it over and over again. Any other tips or suggestions are welcome!
