Notary Public... Italian Equivalant?

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Notary Public... Italian Equivalant?

Post by MntnView76 »

Is there an Italian equivalant to a notary public?

Thanks,
Thomas
Currently researching the De Vito family with origins in Naples and the De Lorenzo family with origins in Calabria. Any assistance is appreciated

It is always best to consult with an attorney at www.italianlaw.net. The inquiry is free I believe. There are Italian Notaries like in the USA but they are subject to Italian laws and hence my recommendation that you ask an Italian oriented law firm. Peter
