Email requests for Birth Certificate?

[ktpoloni]

Has anyone had any success emailing a commune and asking if they could mail a hard copy birth certificate from a commune rather than sending the request by mail? I didn't know if this process would be easier.

I am needing one for dual citizenship from the commune in Fino Del Monte, Bergamo, Italy.

Thanks!

I would fax them for the records
