My husband is applying for dual Italian citizenship through his father in Category 1. His father was naturalized in 1936. My husband was born in 1931, so I assume he is eligible. Since he is applying through his father, does my husband have to give information about his grandfather or great grandfather on form 1?
My husband has filled out form 2 in which he declares he never renounced Italian citizenship. Is he obligated to fill out form 3 or 4 which asks if his father had renounced Italian citizenship. The renunciation is already listed on his naturalization paper.
