Hello,
I am looking for some advice. My husband and I will be traveling to Italy at the end of the month. We will be spending several days in Venice and from my calculations, Bolzano Vicentino, my husband's ancestral town, is about an hour away from Venice. I am looking to get some advice from someone who may be familiar with the area on how best we should get to Bolzano Vicentino - would it be worth it to rent a car, a driver, or just take the train to a nearby town and take a cab?
This is my first trip overseas to do a little bit of ancestry, so I am hoping that someone can help guide me with what is the best way to go.
Thanks!
Erin

Re: Visiting Ancestral Town on Trip to Italy
HI,
I'm not of this area of Italy (I'm from Sicily, an island in the south), but i looked for your request. Bolzano Vicentino is near Venice, but there is not a train station, it is a very lovely and small town. I send you request to the meeting office of Bolzano Vicentino, hoping in an ansver for you.
