The Registrar of Pollica received a note from the Commune of Napoli, section of Chiaia reporting a death act:
#842 November 19, 1873 at 12 am
on its turn, the Commune of Napoli had received a not from the Ospedale di Marina, stating that in such hospital:
on November 18th, 1873 at 8 a.m.
died Gennaro Niglio son of the deceased Giuseppe, 50 years, customs officer (I hope this is a good translation...let's say he was a police who watched over payment of taxes on goods being taken into towns)
