Hi,
I'm wondering what cemetery would have been used for people passing away in Quartiere San Ferdinando, Naples, Italy around 1885.
The more information that can be provided to me, the better. Thank you so much.
Thanks,
Robert

Re: Quartiere San Ferdinando, Naples, Italy - Cemetery 1885
There are two. The Catholic one (Poggioreale) and the non-catholic one (Cimitero Inglese). Depending on the wealth of the family it may be possible to find a tomb. I found one from 1905 but the widow had purchased the tomb and surprisingly it was still there. You have to know the date of death as that is how they search. You may want to read my piece on cemeteries on my website.
