Looking for information on surname Bernadine, could have been changed from Bernardino or Berradino. First name Peter born 1-11-1880 in Italy died May 8 1971 in Ravenna OH. Possibly from place called Oscoli Piceno.

There are two sources you did not mention that you checked thaty will give you the information you are seeking. One is Ellis Island and the other is the Social Security Death Index. (www.ellisisland.org and www.ssdi.genealogy.rootsweb.com), Either of these two will give you the correct spelling of the name and, of course, ASCOLI PICENO is the correct spelling of the town of origin.
