Thank you, Ricbru. You helped me many months ago when I was looking for the names Tavano/Mansolillo. I actually visited Panni this year and made a friend at the municipo building. Through him I was able to get the surnames De Cotiis & Cotoia.

So far I have been able to trace my Great Grandfather back to his birthdate of 1848.

Hi there,

I believe that I may he descended from Maria De Cotiis b. 1829 who married Giuseppe Russo b. 1893. I think their son Vito Antonio Russo from Panni was my great great grandfather. Do you know if this is the same family?
