Passenger Lists

Post by danezeeox »

Hey everyone--
I'm new to this site, and a little new to researching my Italian genealogy. I'm 100% Italian, and am currently looking for a passenger list of the Taormina, in 1921. Does anyone have this list, or know somewhere I could search for it? Please respond!
Thanks --
Dana

Dana,
Please post your question in only one place. Someone will try and help you. It becomes very hard to follow the topic and time is spent re-checking facts already found.

Dr. Steven Morse has a site that will allow you to find missing manifests from Ellis Island. You can also use it to find ships and read the passenger lists that arrived. I don't have his site book marked on this computer, but I am sure you can find it with a google search.

A link to Steve Morse's website

Also, Ancestry.com has a very easily used interface for searching ports other than Ellis (e.g. Philadelphia and Boston), though you'll need to subscribe to get the results.

The Taormina arrived at Ellis Island Sept 26, 1921. Here is a link to the passenger manifests:

To use the link enter 655 in the frame box and then click display. Then click +1 on the frame choices to page through the manifest.
