Is there a site out there that would be more useful?
 
 Of course this question hurts me a little but maybe you can explain me what information you mis.
 One thing is sure, if you do not mention the surname you want to find information on you wil not receive many interesting replies.

you may wish to purchase a dictionary of Italian surnames. Emidio de Felice is the author and the title is Dizionario dei cognomi Italiani. It is in Italian. and published by the Mondadori in Italy. Peter
