Hi there.
I am very new to this Forum and thankful I found it. I have been doing quite a bit of research on my family on ancestry.com but have come to a wall.

What I'm looking for is two main things.

1. Birth and/or naturalization Records of Giulio Desideri Born November 8, 1902. I believe he was born either in Ponte Buggianese or in Chicago (According to his statements but not on official records). On his death certificate in 1971 it says Julius Desideri Died in Temple CIty Los Angeles.
(My solid leads are)
He had three children. Osvoldo-Emilio Desideri born (for sure) in Ponte Buggianese 24 MAY 1921. The comune confirmed this by email but I haven't heard from them since. I have hired someone to go find the records but they said it would take a month to get an appointment (??? ( not sure I believe that)
He came (back?) to the US 4 MAY 1921 and arrived 18 MAY 1921 in NY.
He had two more children Emilio (1925) and Gloria (1935)
He was married to Alda Cacini in Ponte Buggianese around 1920.
2. His father Angiolo Desideri (also looking for Birth & Naturalization Records) Born in Ponte Buggianese 1876 November 3. He came to the US in 1900. He lived in Portland Oregon for a while but besides that I don't have a lot of information on him besides a draft registration in 1918. His wife was Asunta (Benetti) Desideri.


Thank you anyone and everyone if you're able to help me. Any relatives to these still in Ponte Buggianese would be awesome to add to the family tree and possibly meet in Italy some day !
