I have attached a birth record for Stanislao Costiera that we received. It is for the Province of Avellino, Italy. It is for Nov 12, 1888. We are struggling with the record in general and would appreciate any help in reading it. We believe is another orphan.
Stanislao is not an orphan, he is an abandoned baby (foundling). He was abandoned in the "ospizio degli esposti" (hospice of the exposed), of the city of Avellino, on Nov 12 1887, when he was roughly two days old. The name Stanislao and the surname Costiera were imposed by the official.
