I have stumbled across a website:
raogk.com
In this site there are volunteers that looke up specific info. Click on frez. asked questions, then listed below your will see lets look for volunteer.
Click on the state needed, and each individual will have certain things they will do. Ex: public records, census, look up in local genealogical society,
cemetery photos and obits.
I have used this for my branch in Rhode Island. I have been going crazy trying to find a g-uncle. Apparently, he died in RI, but family is buried in Blackstone, MA! Go figure. Also located lost g-aunts and death cert for mygg grandmother.
The charge is low, like .25 cents for copies from society, to like a couple of
bucks. It is worth a try for people who need obits, or church records. Now I am working on Bergen County, NJ family.
Thought some people would be interested, I found out alot of info in a weeks time. And it is correct, as conferring with aunts, these are indeed the correct people.
Good luck, hope this is useful.
