Attached is an excerpt from a 1847 Birth Record for Loreto Sinatra. I need help deciphering the cursive statements at the end of the record. I think it might have something about the inability of the witnesses & father to read.
The official is Gaetano Spoto, mayor & the witnesses are Vincenzo Copello and Giachino Bicotta; the father is Giachino Sinatra.
Also, at some points in the document related to residence, a notation of iui is written. Is this an abbreviation for "in the same place" or something similar?
Thank you.

Re: Translation from Section of Birth Record
It states the declarant was not able to write. The signatures, as I read, are Gaetano Spoto, Vincenzo Cipolla and Giachino (Gioacchino) Ricotta, though the writing is similar, so it seems to have been written by the same person. (You should post the whole document for a comparison, as they must be mentioned somewhere else in it).
The word you found should be "ivi", that means "in the same place".

Re: Translation from Section of Birth Record
The signatures are written by the same person because the document is not the original registration but a true copy (copia conforme).
