Pescina, L'Aquila, Abruzzo records post 1865

Hi Everybody,
I've tried Antenati.com for Morti and Nati records for Pescina, Abruzzo and there is nothing after 1865. Specifically I'm looking for records of great aunts and uncles who died in the Avezzano earthquake. There were 5 of them and I believe they lived in Pescina. Any thoughts? I'm also going to be in Pescara in the springtime, so if you can recommend a place to go to view or search records, I'm open to that too!

Try requesting records in Italian from the town hall include a photo id before you go there

Hi Marty,
Thanks for your reply. I'm hoping you can clarify a little bit. When you say request records, do you mean ask them to search for something before I go there, or just tell that I'm coming and this is what I will want to see when I get there?
Also, there are a couple of localities I want to seach through when I'm there this spring. Pescina and San Benedetto dei Marsi. I don't know if I should be search Civil/State archives or parish archives (or probably both I guess). Any advice you can give on how to write a proper letter to get the best results? I don't speak Italian, but I do have someone to translate my letters for me. I also have a very specific object of my search as well as 10-15 year time frame for the records I'm looking for, so I'd like the officials/priests/recordkeepers to know that I'm serious about what I want to do.

Hi Marty,
I don't know the names of the 5 people I'm looking for. I know that they all died during the Avezzano earthquake, and that their last name was Cenerizio. They all lived in the vicinity of Pescina, I believe San Benedetto dei Marsi. The parents were Edoardo and Anna Cenerizio born 1877 and 1883 respectively.
