Question about a town in Messina.

Post by rancelli »

I can't seem to find later records for just Sant'Agata. I guess my question would be, is Sant'Agata now Sant'Agata di Militello or are they two separate towns?

There is a Sant'Agata in the Villaggi di Messina (there are 40 towns in the Messina Villages in the town of Messina)
Unfortunately the organization of the Villaggi di Messina images has not been good. Despite their categorization into type of records and years, they are incredibly difficult to search because there is no organisation by the name of the villages. (Years of birth, death and marriages records can also be mixed up. If you need help let me know there is alittle method to the madness in the Villaggi di Messina records

Thank you very much. Took me a while but I did find what I was looking for. It's actually for a cousin of mine so he will have to do the rest of his research on his own. Thanks for getting us started :D
