Altopascio: 7 July 1897, 11.10 am
Corrado Marchetti, 44, possidente (landowner), living in Marginone, reported that at 10 pm on (2 July 1897), (it looks like they have written the day born in the wrong place, and it is my suggestion that the date of birth is 2 July 1897); was born at a house in Marginone, no number, to Giuseppa Montanelli, his wife, a female baby who was not presented, and was given the name Iride.

Witnesses: Ulisse Stefanini, 41, possidente and Dario Stefanini, 38, possidente both living in this town.

The declarant (Corrado) was given a dispensation from presenting the new born child because of the distance from the principal town.
